The Toddler Program is designed for children approximately 12 to 30 months old. Children typically move into the Preschool Program when they are developmentally ready.

Is the Toddler Program available at both locations?

Yes. The Toddler Program is offered at both Tiny-Shiny Childcare locations in Stayner and Wasaga Beach, subject to availability. Families are encouraged to contact us to confirm space at their preferred centre.

Is part-time care available in the Toddler Program?

At this time, Tiny-Shiny Childcare only offers full-time toddler care, Monday to Friday (5 days a week).

At Tiny‑Shiny Childcare, our Toddler Program welcomes children aged 12 to 30 months from the surrounding community. We provide a warm, nurturing environment where toddlers can explore, play, and learn each day. Every child receives personalized attention, with a staff‑to‑child ratio of 1:5.

Full-day Program

Our full-day Toddler Program offers a consistent daily schedule that balances structured group activities and free play. Children benefit from a variety of experiences, including creative arts, music, outdoor play, story time, and quiet moments for rest. This routine helps toddlers feel secure and supports healthy development.

Learning Through Play

We believe that young children learn best through play. Our play-based approach encourages toddlers to discover new skills, build confidence, and develop language and problem-solving abilities. Activities are thoughtfully planned to foster curiosity and creativity in a fun, supportive setting.

Hours of Operation

Our Toddler Program begins at 7:30 AM each day. To ensure children benefit fully from our routines and activities, we ask that they arrive by 9:00 AM, and no later than 10:00 AM. Exceptions may be approved in advance for medical, dental, or other special appointments.
